So I spent quite some time this summer working on a collection of Robert E. Howard's Conan stories. I can't really say why I did this, my only excuse is that I wanted to read them and that the plain text or HTML versions I could find were not to my liking. So here's the current (incomplete!) draft:

I am really only pushing this out now because the semester is about to start and I won't have much time to work on it until December. If you find problems in the meantime, please feel free to check out the project site here (use the issue tracker):

I am happy to accept pull requests as long as they are easy to merge. What I was working on when I had to stop was getting more of the old art integrated. I also wanted to go back to the original Weird Tales printings of these stories to make sure I have all the blurb that other transcribers may have missed. Alas I couldn't find PDFs of all those Weird Tales issues.
If you are sitting on these magazines and can produce high-quality scans of the articles/artwork I am missing, I'd be very grateful. For example the first illustration in the Red Nails story is just a small JPG which doesn't look good at all printed (the other two are bigger PNGs and they look alright, at least to my aging eyeballs).
Any volunteers?
